Surfscapes
I love original art, but can't really afford it. Every time we go to a thrift shop or antique mart, I am on the search for paintings. It's a tough item to find, because not only do you have to locate a painting, you have to have a positive response to it.
I found one at an antique mart a few months ago, but didn't buy it. I think about it all the time. Lesson learned! It was only $35 too. Arg.
Anyhoo, I love the Surfscapes done by John Holm. They invoke a memory and feeling of the beaches of Hawaii. Maybe I will have to just pull out my paints and attempt my own....
