Spotty Posts

I have been trying to get the new house utilities turned on, calling insurance, calling subcontractors for the house, getting T a present, on top of work and summertime fun for Harper...sigh. It has been busy. Which has made me neglect posting.

Tony made this amazing light summer dinner Sunday and I didn't take any photo's. I will have him make it again and share it with you. He has something I don't have. I can follow recipes and create yummy meals from them, but I don't know how to look at the fridge and create something completely new. I love that he can do this. I have been doing most of the cooking since I'm home and he works, but it is such a treat when he is in the kitchen. New flavors and new taste. I want to create a family cookbook for the dishes he imagines.  It's on the to do list...

We are going to pick up Thai food for dinner and head over to the pink house to take a look and mark the demo areas. YAHOOOOOO!

I look forward to dinners outside in the backyard. I know it will be a long time before it will set up the way we want, but we can enjoy it in the interim.
