Fig Harvest

We are still working on getting the pink house ready enough to move in (read: far from complete, but with walls, floors, and plumbing). While we were over there last weekend, we checked on our fig tree and surprise! It had numerous figs ready for consumption. Some had been previously enjoyed by the local blue jays, but there was enough to share.

Please ignore the chain link fence...there is a future plan for that back wall area. It wasn't falling down, so it didn't get replaced yet.

As an added bonus, Harper got ahold of my cell phone and took some photos...and I managed to get a few of her too.

Harper and Tony went to lunch and she picked out whatever color she wanted for the inside of her and Otto's closets...Yowsa. I reminded myself, this is her room and giving her freedom to choose what she wants is important. Guess which is her side?

And, not to be left out, me with my cuties...  Tony has been working so much on the pink house, he wasn't around enough to partake in the photo's. Boo hoo. I miss him.
