Plants, A Potting Bench, and A Pink House

This weekend we spent a little bit of time on the outside of the house. This may lead you to believe we have painted, but alas, we have not. Note to self, paint prep takes a ridiculous amount of time. And then the rain came. I will have to start all over again whenever it dries out enough to power wash and paint it.

But, I digress.

We have plants! Granted, it is the smallest, least visible area to plant and can't really be seen from the street, but yay for plants! Looks awfully pretty to me. I think I will plant the large planter to the right of the front door this weekend. Oh, the exciting life I lead. I love it.

Now that the interior is moving along at a reasonable pace, Tony had some time to just make something for fun. Potting bench from left over pallets and fencing...yes.  It is amazing how being organized makes you feel so happy! It also has the side effect of constantly gazing out the window to the back yard with glee. Until you notice the pink, pink, pink, and mess everywhere. Just keep your eyes focused on the pretty thing and it will be fine.
