Making Progress

Green, green, everywhere...well, almost. This makes me so happy! We still have to cut in all around the windows and edges and then paint the trim bright white. Yahooooo!

No telling how long this project will take to complete. It took so much paint! Our choice of green is called broccoli rabe. Oh, yes. Most of the green's we see are a grey green or avocado green. We like them when we see them, but it didn't feel enough like us. Not bright and happy enough. So, broccoli rabe it is!

We already have had neighbors come over and ask if we need to borrow anything and to say how happy they are that we are here. It helps when you buy one of the ugliest houses on the block and start making improvements.

We might take this weekend off and have some fun, so not sure when we will close out this phase.
