Mexican Sage

We cleaned up the front of the house last weekend and planted some Mexican Sage. It has direct sunlight and bad soil...this plant seems to thrive in poor conditions and requires little water. Plus, it was only $6 at Home Depot.

Sold.

Harper and Tony worked hard digging holes, planting, and watering. They are small plants at the moment, so there isn't much impact, but it will look pretty great next year.

I cleaned up the left side of the driveway and the very front is cleared. We need to bring the tractor over and dig out the extra soil to prepare it for the small retaining wall and eventual trees. Exciting, but it will be a while before that happens.

And, yes, the house is STILL pink.

  1. What a hard working team. Pretty fabulous. Actually I'm greeting use to the pink.
